My meals..... Breakfast


Someone ask me what my meals look like on a typical day so I will post throughout the day as to my meals and will include the nutritional information for each meal. 

Here is breakfast for today. 


One cup of Bullet Proof Coffee
4oz of fresh pork sausage
2 large hard boiled eggs

The BPC is made with Folgers Caramel Drizzle coffee (k-cup on largest setting), 1 tbsp of coconut oil, 1 tbsp of butter (must be real butter), 1 tbsp of heavy cream, 1tsp of vanilla, and 2 tsp of Splenda (swerve makes it way too sweet for me).

2g of carbs
30g of fat
280 calories

4 oz of pork sausage (made into a party and added mustard, which has no nutritional value)
0g of carbs
17.1g of protein
30.1g of fat
344 calories

2 large hard boiled eggs
1.1g of carbs
12.6g of protein 
10.6g of fat
156 calories

Total of 3.1g of carbs, 70g of fat, and 29g of protein for breakfast.


I am allowed 20g of carbs, 118g of fat, and 156g of protein. I do not count the calories. I find that if I am eating sticking to my low carb I stay between 1500 and 2000 calories per day. I know tha some will say that it is a lot of fat, but most of my fat grams come from breakfast. I use the Atkins app on my phone to record my meals that helps me gauge where I am for the day with my totals. 

My next meal will be lunch, which is usually a salad.
